Back on my feet here, hopping in and out of Finland and Panama trying to grease the wheels to get my show on the road. I was picking up steam again but made the mistake of taking advantage of a layover to do the ‘right’ thing and once again check in on the family to take a nice xmas picture. We got it together for a moment at the beginning of the shoot, but then the wife saw the passport in my hand and started in on me about leaving the country. She snatched the boy while I strong armed Saskia out of the portrait studio and onto a fish plane to Laguwaq. Connie had these cards printed and sent them to orphanages across the country to help illustrate her seminar: ‘Alone Feels Nice: The Unavoidable Family Dynamic’. In retrospect, me showing up was a bad move, and really, the beginning of the end.
